Zazz

A black-first mini-games arcade.

FreeiOSAndroid

Quick single-player mini-games in a black-first arcade. iOS and Android.

What it’s for, in plain terms

Not everything has to be productive. Zazz is six clean puzzle games built for the length of a coffee break, with a daily challenge everyone plays and boards you can climb.

You have four minutes and don't want a session

Merge, Gridlock, MazePaint, Nonogram, Sudoku and ZipZap are all built to start and finish in a gap, not to hold you for an evening.

You want the same puzzle everyone else got

One daily challenge, generated from the same seed for every player. You get one honest attempt at it.

You want a number to beat

Every game has its own leaderboard, and scores are checked on the server before they land on it, so the board is worth climbing.

You switch between phone and tablet

One account across iPhone and Android, so streaks and records follow you.

Getting the best out of it

  1. Play the daily firstIt's the one round that's the same for everyone, and it's the fastest way to see whether your best is actually any good.
  2. Pick one game to be good atSix boards spread thin is six mediocre ranks. One game, played daily, moves.
  3. Just startThere's no sign-up wall in front of a puzzle. An account is for keeping streaks and records, not for playing.
